The Associate Director for Academic Success & Retention serves as a key operational leader for Rocky Top Gateway (RTG) within the Division of Student Success at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Reporting to the Executive Director, this position is responsible for overseeing the daily implementation of the program's student success model and ensuring that students participating in RTG receive proactive, coordinated support that promotes academic progress, engagement, and successful matriculation to UT. The Associate Director manages the program's academic success and retention strategy, working closely with partners at Pellissippi State Community College (PSCC) and across the University of Tennessee to ensure students remain on track to complete all program and academic requirements. This includes developing systems to monitor student progress, coordinating interventions when challenges arise, and maintaining consistent communication with students to reinforce expectations and connect them with appropriate campus resources.
