Engineers Class 1: Title: Engineer Job Description: Maintain property and operations of building Typical Work Conditions: Entire hotel Equipment Used: Chemicals, ladders, tools for electrical, carpentry and plumbing work, paints and painting tools Knowledge/Training: Fluent English, read and write necessary High school diploma or equivalent: Thorough knowledge of hand tools and carpentry tools Must be able to make repairs to basic electrical and plumbing systems Basic maintenance knowledge: Licenses or certifications desirable but not required Essential Tasks: Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment. Handles necessary repairs and maintenance. Installs equipment and appliances. Follows local and state building codes. Complies with all company safety regulations.
