Job description
The Head Women’s Golf Coach is responsible for all facets of the Women’s Golf program including but not limited to competitive performance, student-athlete development, student-athlete safety, health & well-being, recruiting, academics, compliance, program development, staff management, fundraising, team travel, camps/clinics, game day management, alumni relations, and community engagement. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performs Sports Management including: - Organizing, preparing and conducting team practices, training, and competition - Competition scheduling - Budget maintenance - Equipment management - Staff management Provides Communication for the following: - Constant communication with student-athletes - Regular communication with sport administrator and athletic support staff related to sport (strength and conditioning, sports medicine, academic advising, sport information, marketing & promotions, equipment & facilities, MocsVision, and community service) - Development staff regarding donor relations - Camps & Clinics Performs Recruiting as follows: - Emails, mailings, phone calls - Prospect evaluations - Prospect contacts - Recruiting services...
