U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service, is seeking Plumbers in Philadelphia. The Plumber will be responsible for the operation, replacement, repair and maintenance of domestic hot and cold-water systems, sanitary drainage systems, pumps and fixtures in a Correctional Environment. Assembling, installing and repairing pipes, fitting and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems according to specification and plumbing codes. Studies building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations. Locates and marks position of piping and pipe valve isolation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES: - Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools and other methods pertaining to the installation of copper, carbon steel, cast iron. - Experience in soldering, brazing, pro press, pipe threading, pipe grooving, and various other piping methods used in a Commercial/Industrial Environment. - Fills pipe system with water or air, reads gauges to determine system pressure. - Proficient in Commercial drain cleaning and service. - Directs Trade Helper assigned to plumber. - Other duties as assigned.
