The Security Operations Center Lead is responsible for the physical security of Genentech’s North American Headquarters, as well as associated regional offices, remote site locations, and employees on business travel globally. The position reports directly to the Security Operations Center Manager and is the lead business representative accountable for the performance of the contract security staff. The Opportunity: Key Responsibilities: Perform duties as assigned, primarily under the immediate supervision of the Security Operations Center Manager but will be prepared to act independently when there is not a Security Operations Center Manager on duty. Monitors performance and concurrent assignments being executed by security personnel. Makes periodic inspections to observe contract staff and validate they are properly equipped, trained, and fulfilling their duties in compliance with organizational policies.
