Rhode Island Medical Imaging is currently offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus!* SUMMARY: This position will require flexibility and floating to our other locations as needed; must be willing to travel. Under the general supervision of the Lead MRI Technologist and according to established policies and procedures, this individual will be responsible for performing and ensuring appropriate quality control, providing requested films of high diagnostic quality based on the specifics of each case, and interacting effectively and professionally with patients, referring physicians/their staff, and fellow employees while maintaining the best possible patient flow and throughput at all times. SCHEDULE: - Monday-Thursday (day shifts vary) - Saturday OR Sunday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM - 40 hours/week EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: - Physical dexterity and strength to operate all types of MR related equipment, properly position patients, and handle patient films and files. - Conceptual ability to determine means of providing requested studies based on the specifics of each case. - Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical and/or emotional stress, referring physicians a...
