Administers scanning procedures to patients; maintains records of radionuclides used in examinations; performs quality control testing of nuclear camera, dose calibrator, survey meters, and spectrometer. Assists in radiation surveys. Operates nuclear medicine computer; schedules all nuclear medicine exams; orders necessary isotopes for exam to be done. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Must possess current Nuclear Medicine license through the West Virginia Board of Radiologic Technologists. 2. Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. 3. CPR certification. EXPERIENCE: 1. One (1) year of nuclear medicine technologist experience.
