Job # ET26006 Job Title Technical Services Field Technician - Energy & Infrastructure Solutions Office Location Houston, TX preferred: Business Function/Department Energy & Infrastructure Solutions/Technical Services Sales Territory, if applicable: General Role Description: Provide warranty support of utility scale solar PV inverters, variable frequency drives, power distribution, power electronic and rotating machine products to clients and field personnel. Role Accountabilities: - Analyze client equipment failures using diagnostics tools to resolve issues - Provide technical support to clients and other engineers, when not in the field - Perform commissioning, installations, quality inspections, and performance testing of photovoltaic inverter systems to meet design performance criteria - Troubleshoot, isolate issue, repair and/or replace defective components - Report to the factory any errors of deficiencies in hardware, software or system design discovered from consultation with clients and Company engineers.
