This position supports meal preparation, food service, and sanitation within Food Services while ensuring compliance with health department regulations and organizational standards. This role contributes to a safe and welcoming dining experience for the individuals we support and employees Key Responsibilities may include: - Serve and deliver food to individuals supported and employees. - Follow prescribed special diets, including therapeutic and dysphagia-modified diets, ensuring proper texture, portioning, and presentation. - Follow allergen awareness and cross-contact prevention procedures during food preparation and service. - Assist the Cook with preparation of hot food items. - Portion, label, and package hot and cold foods according to safe food handling procedures. - Provide shift coverage for vacations, sick leave, and vacancies when needed, sometimes on short notice. - Collect and properly handle soiled dishes from ser...
