Labcorp is seeking a Onsite Lab Support Clerk to join our team in Rockford, IL Work Schedule : Monday – Friday hours will vary, this is full time position and scheduled for 40 hours per week. 8:00am-5:00pm/5:00pm-1:00am shifts. Work Locations : Rockford, IL; Sterling, IL; Freeport, IL; Janesville, WI; Itasca, IL- other locations as needed, but will primarily be scheduled for Western Suburb locations. Job Responsibilities: Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing Communicate effectively with client office staff Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems Meet department activity and production goals Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Accurately identify and label specimens: Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities Scrub requisitions to ensure samples are prepared and missing items are updated Do spinning/freezing/splitting and other special services as needed based on client Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: 1 year or more of medical or patient facing healthcare experience Additional Job Standards: Comfortable handling biological specimens Ability t...
