Job Description The Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a clinical or tenure track (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) position in Medical Oncology. The final track will be offered based on the qualifications and preferences of the successful candidate. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary oncology team within the Animal Cancer Care & Research Center (ACCRC), part of the Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute’s biomedical research complex in Roanoke, VA. The successful candidate will work alongside a dedicated team that includes a medical oncology hospitalist, two radiation oncologists, one surgical oncologist (with a second position in negotiation), and specialty interns. Advanced Facilities & Technology: The ACCRC is equipped with a USP800-compliant chemotherapy suite, a 64-slice CT scanner (Siemens SOMATOM Confidence), digital radiography, ultrasonography, three modern operating rooms, and a state-of-the-art Varian Edge linear accelerator.
