Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Mechanic for a local client in Washington, PA. Candidates who have a background completing mechanical and light electrical repairs to production equipment are encourage to apply. Job Description: This position is responsible for the maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of machinery used to produce commercial electrical products. Additionally, the Mechanic is required to prove competency in operation and repair of production equipment as assigned, including but not limited to the automated production lines, clampers, tappers, screwdrivers and power press. Qualifications: - Effectively troubleshooting production line and other equipment - Productively maintaining equipment and performance of the required day-to-day tasks focusing on safe use and operation of maintenance tools - Assist in loading coils on to automated lines and performing welder, production line and equipment changeovers - Daily press and equipment preventative maintenance and lubrication including power press inspections and safety - Basic electrical tasks and electrical safety - Perform hot work permit tasks (including welding, cutting, and brazin...
