Reports To : Surgical Services Director FLSA Classification: Full-Time Non-exempt, Hourly $33.50- $50.000 Essential Functions: - Assess, instruct, and prepare patients prior to surgery. - Ensure that operative and informed consents are signed and correct. - Take and record vital statistics of patients to ensure readiness for surgical procedures. - Initiate IVs. - Assess patient's post-operative condition. - Monitor Vital Signs and other measurements of progress, meeting discharge criteria. - Accurately chart finings and progress in patient chart. - Answer patient questions and ensure patent comfort before and after surgical Procedures. - Monitor patients for condition changes, reporting any changes to physician. - Perform intervention duties as assigned during post-operative emergencies. - Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: - Current, unencumbered Colorado RN license required. - BLS and ACLS certification required thre (3) months of hire or transfer.
