Position: Psychometric Testing Technologist, Neurology Location: Boston, MA: Schedule: 40 hours per week, On-site POSITION SUMMARY: The Psychometrist supports the Neuropsychology team in the Neurology department at Boston Medical Center by administering and scoring standardized neuropsychological assessments for adult patients presenting with a range of neurological/neurodegenerative conditions. Conditions seen include Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, Parkinson’s disease/movement disorder, traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, stroke, etc. The psychometrist will work under the supervision of licensed neuropsychologists and administer standardized cognitive tests to patients that assess cognitive and behavioral functioning (including attention/executive functions, memory, language, visuospatial/quantitative abilities, and mood). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Administers standardized neuropsychological test batteries (e.g., memory, attention/ executive function, processing speed, language, visuospatial) in accordance with test manuals and neuropsychologist instructions.
