Flood Specialist (Part-Time)

Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform independent review and analysis of new loan application, appraisal, write up/conversation log in order to determine flood insurance requirements, validate proof of coverage, and monitor LOS for changes and updates prior to giving a clear to close the loan - Ensure all flood insurance cancellations, renewals, escrowed invoices are processed timely, accurately and meet compliance regulations - Monitor incoming FEMA map changes, determine the change validity and act on documentation in accordance with procedure - Review internal and external reports to accurately maintain loan tracking information as well as overall compliance with the FDPA - Assist in the development and recommend changes to procedures that will lead to increased accuracy and efficiency - Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank’s compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks - Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards - Other duties as assigned DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Interpersonal/Customer Service Skills - Written and Verbal Communication - Ability to...
