The purpose of the Product Owner is: Responsible for maximizing the value of the product and work of the Development team. Accountable for managing the Product Backlog, including adding/removing/grooming items and defining their priorities. Communicates vision of the Product Manager to their scrum team and is responsible for prioritizing the product backlog to accomplish that vision.
