Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Certified Nurse Anesthetist - CRNA Department: Anesthesia: Location: Trinity Health Livonia and Huron Gastroenterology Minimum rate of pay: $128.64/hour: JOB SUMMARY: The CRNA, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist involved in the administration of various types of anesthesia and related services for surgical, diagnostic, therapeutic and obstetrical procedures for pediatric through adult patients throughout the hospital. Performance shall be under the overall direction of the Medical Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology or qualified designee and shall be responsible to the CRNA Manager. Performs pre-anesthetic assessment including requesting appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies in preparation for administration of general, regional, or proper sedation. Prepares room for anesthetic delivery, performing machine check and setting up necessary adjunctive equipment, checks readiness, availability and working condition of all equipment used in the administration of anesthetic agents.
