ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Essential functions are duties, which are essential or primary to the position or the reason the position exists. An individual must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Provides supervision of resident activities, assuring resident compliance with facility rules and procedures. Supervises visitations of residents and significant others during scheduled visitation hours. Assists residents with development of daily living skills. Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment by providing direct supervision to residents on and off agency property. Oversee, monitor, and record resident self-medication (when a supervisor is unavailable). Provides written documentation of resident activity/issues to maintain compliance with written standards.
