Job description

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the hotel and providing accurate, timely, and relevant financial information to the Owners, General Manager, and management team. This role ensures strong financial controls, compliance with brand and ownership requirements, and supports overall profitability while maintaining a guest-focused service culture. The Accounting Manager also leads the hotel audit function and serves as a key business partner to department leaders. Key Responsibilities: Financial Operations & Reporting: - Prepare, review, and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Manage all phases of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations. - Oversee department budgets, monitor expenses, and support forecasting and variance analysis. - Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper accounting treatment of all transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. - Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
