Job description

The Technical Supervisor of Steam Operations 74th St Station is responsible for leading the implementation and enforcement of the Companys safety, health, and environmental programs within the Instrumentation and Controls Department. This role plays a key part in the station work control process, supporting all operating equipment across Con Edison Steam Generating Stations. The position ensures the efficient utilization of personnel and materials in the calibration, maintenance, testing, repair, analysis, and overhaul of critical power plant equipment, including boilers, turbines, generators, protective relays, and auxiliary systems. This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan. Core Responsibilities: - Accountable for the safety, productivity and quality of the work performed by the Electrical technician or for all types of maintenance and testing of the section she/he oversees. - Supervise union personnel and enforce all contractual and local work rules.
