Flexible Packaging and Bottle Mechanic 2nd Shift

Job description

Overview The Mechanic will preform electrical/mechanical corrective and preventative maintenance on liquid filing (bottle finning) equipment, manufacturing equipment, and systems which include wiring, power distribution, servo and stepper controls, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Responsibilities: - Work with Production Manager and other Mechanics to maximize efficiency of production lines. - Perform set ups, breakdowns, repairs, preventive maintenance, and improvements on machines. - Ensure that instructions provided in the Work Orders are being followed (i.e. correct codes, box counts, palletizing instructions) by periodically monitoring each line. - Sign off job start-ups to run while ensuring setups are accurately matching the proper components with the work order. - Document major repairs or adjustments in Maintenance log book. - Review production paperwork for accuracy. - Ensure for set up that the proper components are supplied to the production lines and staged for the next shift/job. - Ensures for breakdowns that components from a prior job are removed from the production floor. - Troubleshoot machine malfunctions to maintain maximum production and quality. - Co...
