US/MS Assistant Cheer Coach

Classification: Part-Time, Seasonal Start Date: Fall, Winter, and Spring Seasons Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, with additional Saturday availability as needed (varies by sport) Reports To: Head Varsity Coach and Director of Athletics What You'll Do: Coach & Develop Student-Athletes: You'll help run practices, teach skills and routines, and prepare athletes for sideline performance and competition. Support Game Day & Competition Performance You'll be on the sidelines and at competitions, coaching athletes through live performance environments. - Assist with daily after-school practices Monday-Friday, approximately 4:00-6:00 PM Teach and refine cheerleading skills including: - Sideline cheer techniques and crowd engagement - Halftime routines for football season - Stunting progressions and safety protocols - Tumbling skills (within your expertise and with proper safety measures) - Dance and performance elements - GHSA Game Day competition choreography and execution - Provide individual feedback and coaching to help athletes improve technique, confidence, and performance - Collaborate with the Head Coach to plan practices, design routines, and ensure safe skill progressi...
