TITLE: Principal Engineer - Climate & Wildfire Resiliency GREAT BENEFITS + SIGN ON BONUS + RELOCATION: SALARY RANGE : The base salary for this position is dependent upon experience and location ranging from $ 128,000 to $160,400 LOCATION : Binghamton, NY / Rochester , NY / Orange , CT / Augusta , ME / Portland , ME Work type : Office: Job Summary: The Principal Engineer for Climate and Wildfire Resiliency will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing utility system resiliency plans to address wildfire risks and the impacts of climate change. This senior-level position will focus on establishing and maintaining engineering standards and designing electric utility system plans to mitigate the effects of climate change and wildfire risk. The Principal Engineer will serve as the technical subject matter expert on engineering standards to mitigate these risks. They will work closely with the Emergency Management Department and the Principal Advisor for Climate and Wildfire Mitigation.
