Summary Job Description: Nursing Asst , Labor and Delivery Unit Description: Labor and Delivery is a high-risk specialized unit that provides care to pregnant individuals prior to and during labor, childbirth, and the immediate postpartum period. This unit has 17 private birthing suites, 8 Triage/PACU beds, 4 OR Rooms, and a specialized Antepartum unit that provides care for women with high-risk pregnancies and post-partum diagnoses needing supportive care. Shift : Full -time, Nights: Job Summary: Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member, the Patient Care Tech (PCT/HUC) provides direct patient care and related support. Performs selected nursing procedures and routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients. Key Responsibilities: Assist with Patient Needs Personal Hygiene Support: Assist patients with bathing, dental care, grooming, and dressing while maintaining their dignity and privacy.
