Job Type Full-time Description: Who we are looking for... We are seeking a Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM). This position requires an extensive knowledge of FDOT procedures and software, and the Surveyor must possess the ability to analyze problems, envision solutions and develop deliverables using state of the art technology in a fast paced and challenging work environment. The Surveyor will work closely with our Project Manager on FDOT and Public projects. Professional Surveyor & Mapper (PSM) will have the responsibility for technical performance on small projects or designated tasks on large projects. Work requires application of standard surveying techniques and procedures, professional judgment to make modifications or execute complex features or solutions. The following skills will be required for this position: - Perform complex survey/geomatics calculations and analysis of survey data for preparing survey maps, plats and right of way mapping. - Compile and research existing data for projects as needed to efficiently complete survey requirements. - Coordinate and assist in preparing project estimates and schedules. - Analyze deeds, title reports and other research mat...
