Job Summary: Assists with the management of patient/athlete visits within the clinic performing a range of clinical responsibilities in support of the physicians. Participates in community outreach and conducts presentations on a variety of Athletic Training Topics. Supervises Student Athletic Trainers and/or Intern Athletic Trainers and mentors new staff members. Accountabilities: Interaction and management of patient visit within clinic for physician Complies with departmental policies for documentation Volunteers for community events. Coordinates and presents at local/ state/regional level on Athletic Training Topics. Supports and provides educational material to athletes, coaches, parents, community at large on injury management and prevention. Coordinates/arranges sessions with local EMT/Emergency Services for coordination of care for injured athlete. Coordinates with other school personnel and parents /guardians to get HIPPA Consent and Consent to Treat signed and back in a timely manner. Calls MD, medical assistants, parents, coaches, Coordinator of Sports Medicine, Radiology, etc. to ensure ambulatory services are pe...
