Job description

The Integrated Forensic Program (IFP) provides mental health assessment and treatment to individuals living with serious mental illness who have come into contact with the law. Duties: Qualifications: - Provide individual, family and group therapy following best practice standards, consistent with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. - Provide evidence based social work biopsychosocial assessment, consultation and treatment (individual, groups, couples, and family) for clients with complex, mental health, physical health and concurrent substance use disorders - Complete risk assessment and crisis intervention plans. - Work collaboratively, cooperatively and effectively within the Integrated Forensic Program and with hospital and community partners such as the police and justice system - Engage client, family and caregivers in the clinical interventions and risk reduction strategies with the interdisciplinary team. - Ensure Ontario Review Board disposition conditions are adhered through clinical supervision and assistance. - Meet with clients and clinical team to communicate as directed with the Ontario Review Board. - Provide evidence to the Ontario Rev...
