Description Location: Knox Auto Parts - Birmingham 3055 35th Ave N., Birmingham, AL 35207 Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm Position Overview: A heavy equipment operator at a salvage yard is responsible for operating heavy equipment, PAY LOADER to move vehicles around the yard. Their main objective is to assist in moving vehicles in and out of bays, pulling vehicles from the lots, loading them in the dismantle bays, and unloading incoming vehicles. The heavy equipment operator must operate the equipment safely and always be attentive. Overall, the heavy equipment operator plays a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of the salvage yard. Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions 2. Safety 3.
