The program focuses on building fundamental movement skills, confidence, teamwork, and a positive relationship with physical activity. In addition to teaching responsibilities, this position requires coaching. Essential Responsibilities: Plan and teach physical education classes for students in Pre-K through Grade 5 that promote skill development, fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship Provide instruction in fundamental movement skills, coordination, and age-appropriate activities and games Create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment for all students Adapt lessons to support a range of abilities and learning styles Monitor student participation and progress and maintain appropriate records in accordance with school expectations Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, specialists, and administrators to support student deve...
