We are hiring in Cohoes NY! Join us this summer at Camp Colonie for an exciting opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist. Applicants must be available June 29- August 14 What You'll Do: As a Speech Language Pathologist you will evaluate communication skills to include: receptive language, expressive language, articulation, voice, fluency, oral-motor skills and hearing. You will develop a comprehensive service plan according to program policies and regulations, including school, outpatient, etc. Your Responsibilities Will Include: - Provide therapy as outlined by treatment plan of communication disorders of Individual Treatment Plan/Individual Education Plan. - Maintain professional standards in and out of the Center in compliance with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Code of Ethics. - Instruct and counsel students/clients and/or their families regarding the specific nature of their communications impairments and how to best deal with this in various speaking situations. - Attend IEP meetings, staffing, case conferences and department meetings. - Maintain appropriate records: progress notes and reports, evaluations, plans, case conference reports and discharge su...
