Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day running of our busy in-house restaurant operation. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and senior leadership team, you will help deliver exceptional service, commercial performance and guest satisfaction in a professional corporate hospitality environment. This role is primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional evening work to support events and business needs. About the role: Service Operations: - Support the smooth day-to-day running of the restaurant, ensuring the floor, service areas and team are fully prepared for service and consistently maintained to a high standard. - Lead service on the floor, ensuring seamless guest experiences, smooth communication between front and back of house, efficient table management and prompt resolution of guest requests. - Oversee restaurant opening and closing procedures, including mise en place, bookings, guest enquiries, payments, reporting and service handovers. - Support wider restaurant activity including basic barista duties, assisting with events and maintaining high standards of food, beverage and guest experience.
