About the role Our Repairs and Maintenance teams play an important role in delivering our vision of providing great homes and great service. They offer vital support, ensuring that our homes are safe, warm, and dry, and where everything works; Places where our residents are proud to live. We are looking for a Repairs Surveyor to join our team covering our locations in Essex. This is a full time, 39 hours per week, permanent role. The overall purpose of the role is to carry out surveys and property inspections, oversee the delivery of subcontracted repairs and ensure repairs are highlighted and completed in accordance with Guinness standards and timeframes. What we are looking for: We’re seeking someone with strong technical knowledge of building standards, experience in HHSRS assessments, and a solid grasp of responsive, voids and planned repairs. You’ll be confident managing contractors, working independently, delivering excellent customer service, and communicating clearly.
