JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for all aspects of the bar ranging from preparation to service. Ensures that supplies and stock are at sufficient levels to accommodate business demands during their shift. Provides guidance to the Apprentice Bartender as well as mixing and serving drinks to customers during their shift. Accounts for all stock and supplies used. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Bar standards. QUALIFICATIONS: - Prepares ordered drinks with proper portions and ingredients such as wine, liquor and related bar service to guests at assigned stations. - Mixes drinks according to prescribed recipes; keeps station stocked with all liquor, glasses and accessories necessary; accounts for all beginning cash register bank, all cash, complimentary drinks and charge receipts. - Operates a cash register, ringing the proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change. - Possesses a keen sense of timing and is capable of discreetly speeding up or slowing down his/her station as necessary. - Resourceful with beverages, fruit and supplies in order to maintain low beverage costs. - Set up service items at the assigned bar. - Inventory supplies at the bar at the beginning...
