Overview: This position serves as a School Nurse at KIPP Columbus, a school enrolling children pre-k to grade 12. The RN will assist the other 4 nurses at the school and provide coverage when needed. This position schedule is similar to a teaching schedule. You will work Monday-Friday from August to the end of May, traditional school hours and will be off over summer (June & July). Job Description Summary: Emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention as they assist patients and families to move rapidly, uneventfully, safely, and as effectively as possible through their episode of care. Delegates, oversees and provides quality, safe and developmentally appropriate patient care.
