Intern - Accounting Location: Dallas, TX: Employment Type: Intern: The Opportunity: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Intern to support the finance team with daily accounting tasks and financial reporting. This internship provides hands-on experience in accounting operations and exposure to real-world financial processes in a professional environment. What you will do?: Primary Responsibilities: - Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes - Prepare and enter journal entries - Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts - Support month-end and year-end closing activities - Maintain and organize financial records and documentation - Assist with data entry and financial reporting - Conduct basic account analysis and research discrepancies - Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed Professional Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to handle confidential information with integr...
