Job description

Oversees and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Respiratory Department and collaborates with the Director to develop and implement education, facilitate clinical operations, and support daily operations. They are responsible for assisting with staff selection, orientation of staff, scheduling staff, ensuring policy and procedures reflect current practice standards as well as ensuring Respiratory Department is stocked with adequate and appropriate supplies Education/Training: Licenses/Certification: - Graduate of an AMA approved program for Respiratory Care. - AS or BA/BS preferred. - Current MA Respiratory license - RRT Required - NRP Required - BLS Required Required Qualifications and Skills: - Excellent organizational skills. - Minimum of 5 years as a Respiratory Therapist - Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to perform all the functions contained in the Respiratory Therapist’s Job Descriptions. - Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. - Must be able to work within a budget.
