Supplier Development & Capacity Management Specialist – NA Parts and Service Supply Chain Supplier Management

Job description

The Supplier Delivery & Development specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the health of the supply base, as measured by key performance indicators such as Supplier Delivery Schedule (SDS) compliance, Delivery Rating Verification ( DRIVe ) score, and the Global External Balanced Scorecard (EBSC). Additionally, the team leads quarterly initiatives targeting supplier performance improvements and actively pursuing internal and external continuous improvement opportunities to support best-in-class customer service . This role will also be responsible for managing and resolving supplier tooling capacity shortages to reduce the risk of shortfalls in service stock levels. This position requires strong strategic thinking and leadership skills to address capacity issues and implement resolutions. Competencies in many systems and interacting across several different functional areas will be required . This includes internal areas such as Purchasing, Supplier Delivery Risk Management, Supplier Quality, Product Planning, Logistics, Global Convergence and Engineering, as well as working closely with external suppliers.
