Your Impact: The Import Classification Senior Analyst Serves as the subject matter expert responsible for the tariff classification process for Lowe's and L G Sourcing. Assures that duty classification is performed within the established Lowe's and LGS policies, procedures and meets all US Customs & Border Protection requirements. Evaluates the company's eligibility for special trade programs and prescreens for risk factors including country of origin, additional requirements from other federal agencies, and supplementary duties and tariffs. What You Will Do: - Manage classification determination process on all import products. - Consult pertinent GRI protocols and section & chapter notes. - Identify and notes any relevant binding rulings issued on similar products. - Consult explanatory notes to confirm constituent material or product characteristics upon which proper cl...
