Title: National Security Solutions (NSS) - Government Property Specialist Internship Project Overview: The Government Property Specialist Intern will assist the Government Property Team to ensure compliance with federal regulations and contractual obligations. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in government property management, contract procedures, and regulatory compliance, particularly focusing on the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance Support: Assist in reviewing and interpreting FAR Part 45 and DFARS regulations related to government property closeout. Stay informed on changes in government property policies and assist in updating internal documentation. Help ensure that property closeout procedures adhere to federal regulations and contract-specific requirements. Government Property Receiving / Identification/ Recordkeeping Assist in preparing required documentation such as inventories, transfers, and disposition reports.
