Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Systems Storage Engineer is expected to be able to accomplish the following: - Architect and manage enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NAS, object storage) across on‑prem and hybrid environments. - Design and implement storage arrays, clusters, and fabric architectures; create standard builds, zoning, and configuration baselines. - Engineer performance‑optimized and secure storage environments, including provisioning, tiered storage strategies, multipathing, and IOPS capacity planning. - Develop and implement replication strategies, backup/restore processes, and disaster recovery plans ensuring compliant RTO/RPO. - Integrate enterprise storage with virtualization platforms (vSphere/ESXi, vCenter, vSAN), backup platforms, and cloud‑based storage services where applicable. - Conduct performance baselining, capacity forecasting, data lifecycle analysis, and storage policy optimization. - Implement STIG‑compliant configurations, encryption, certificate management, and continuous compliance reporting. - Automate storage provisioning and operations using PowerShell, Python, vendor APIs, and configuration management tooling....
