City/State Harrisonburg, VA Work Shift: Rotating Overview: Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital is hiring an Echocardiographer for the Cardiac service line non-invasive lab. This is a part time, day shift/rotating position in Harrisonburg, Va. Sign on Bonus of up to $10,000 for qualified candidates. Hours : Monday – Friday, day shift, with call every 7th week to include the weekend. The echocardiographer is off the preceding Friday and following Monday of their call weekend. The Echocardiographer must live within a 30-minute drive of the hospital for call purposes. An Echocardiographer, also known as a cardiac sonographer, specializes in performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations of the heart. These professionals work closely with cardiologists to evaluate heart structures, functions, and blood flow, aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. The Sentara RMH Medical Center echocardiography lab is considered high volume with close to 9,500 procedures performed annually.
