Overview The Merchant Sales Officer drives growth of the Bank’s merchant card services portfolio by prospecting and developing new business, managing and expanding existing merchant relationships, and delivering excellent client experience. Responsibilities: This role performs merchant visitation, provides customer service, consults with merchants to recommend solutions, presents pricing and proposals, coordinates onboarding, and supports installation and training for credit/debit card processing and POS equipment. The Merchant Sales Officer also partners with branch and bank teams to identify cross-sell opportunities, resolve service issues, and improve merchant retention. Education/Experience: Requirements Combination of education and experience will be considered. - Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or other related business field. - 3+ years within the credit card industry (credit, collections, operations, or merchant sales).
