Purolite, an Ecolab company, is recruiting an Environmental Specialist, a key role responsible for ensuring environmental compliance and driving continuous improvement in environmental performance at site level. What you’ll do: - Ensure compliance with national and European environmental legislation, permit conditions, and Ecolab requirements. - Maintain and update the Environmental Legal Compliance Register and monitor the level of compliance. - Manage relationships with environmental authorities (Environmental Protection Agency, Environmental Guard, Romanian Waters). - Prepare, submit, and track mandatory statutory environmental reports. - Coordinate the maintenance, renewal, and compliance of environmental permits and approvals. - Collaborate with external consultants on environmental impact studies, permit updates, and technical documentation. - Organize and monitor environmental monitoring programs and define corrective and preventive actions. - Coordinate the site-level waste management system and propose waste reduction initiatives. - Collaborate with authorized operators for waste transportation and disposal/recovery. - Lead continuous improvement projects (TPM / Kaizen) re...
