Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Operating Room Readiness- Review daily surgery schedule to align supplies and equipment with case acuity and type. Ensure supplies and equipment are ready-to-use and available. Possess meaningful knowledge of supply and equipment use and operation across all surgical disciplines and anesthesia locations. Prepare and maintain specialized supplies and equipment. Recognize and resolve technical issues. Work in tandem with provider to fully prepare for case needs and intubate patient. Communication- Maintain/manage strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, and other key stakeholders. Respond to requests quickly and effectively. Identify and understand customer needs and expectations and meets them. Communicate any relevant information to clients, colleagues, and other key stakeholders. Problem solve acute issues and pro-actively ensure prescribed case needs are met. Staff Development- precepts Tech I and signs-off on completed competencies. Clinical Assisting- Work side-by-side with anesthesia provider and assist with intubation/extubation.
