Description The University of Chicago’s Department of Pediatrics, Section of Critical Care Medicine, seeks full-time faculty members at any rank for its growing Palliative Care Service. Appointees will provide consultation on inpatient and select outpatient areas with a focus on care of children with life-limiting illness. Other duties include active contribution to teaching and supervision of medical students, residents and fellows, nursing staff, and faculty, as well as scholarly activity. Opportunities for leadership roles may be available to candidates with appropriate skills or experience. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications. This position is benefits-eligible.
