About the Opportunity This is an open position with FirstEnergy Service Co., a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [FEU]. The estimated pay range for this role is $20.00-$30.00/hour. Our Power Delivery and Construction & Design Services groups are growing segments of our company. We are looking for individuals interested in a career as an engineer in these areas. There are multiple Engineering Co-Op positions available for Summer 2026 ( May 18th, 2026-August 21st, 2026 ). Desired majors: Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. This position would be on-site. Possible work locations would be within our five-state footprint (Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey) and could include Akron, Ohio, Greensburg, Pennsylvania, Reading, Pennsylvania, Fairmont, WV, and Morristown, NJ. This is a full-time engineering co-op position during regular business hours, and the successful candidates will be expected to devote their full time and attention to the position during regular business hours.
