Summary: The Behavioral Health Technician II (BHT) works in the Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospital (PHP) levels of care as a member of the treatment teams providing services to patients. Examples of services provided are activity and therapeutic groups; providing screening activities, education support for our child and adolescent population; conducting staff assisted exposure therapy, etc. The BHT II will act as the NCI trainer for their location. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Supports the clinical team in delivering cognitive and other therapeutic services to program patients according to clinical standards of care and under the supervision of the clinical supervisor/director or designee. Works in conjunction with the with the treatment teams to implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) specific behavioral intervention, ie Exposure Therapy. Supports and leads patient (education) groups, under the direction or in collaboration with the clinical team. Conducts expressive group activities to enhance the patients overall experience at Rogers. ie arts and crafts, music, games, psychodrama, etc, in cooperation with the (experiential) therapist.
