JOB SUMMARY: TheRetail Sales Clerk provides excellent customer service and actively promotesthe selling of merchandise, operates a cash register and handles all paymenttransactions for purchase. The RetailSales Clerk receives, unpacks, folds and puts away the daily deliveries ofmerchandise. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS: Greetsall internal and external guests using Spotlight initiatives to providefriendly, courteous, excellent service. Demonstratesa pleasant and enthusiastic demeanor at all times. Maintainsawareness/security of retail floor, products, services and guests. Assistscustomers and guests providing information about retail outlet, merchandise andproperty events, promotions, restaurants and/or hotel amenities. Encouragesmultiple sales by offering additional/complimentary products and/or services. Performsretail cashier duties and accurately maintains accompanying paperwork. Balancesall monies at end of shift. Maintainsgeneral housekeeping duties, ensuring the clean, neat and professionalappearance of the outlet and its merchandise.
