DC Forklift Operator - Quality Assurance

Job description

This position will be expected t o operate fork trucks and stock pickers in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Primary duties will include p rocess ing orders requiring the use of a forklift or stock picker , maintaining inventory integrity , and improving efficiencies throughout the distribution center. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Perform order adjustments (repicks) and various tasks, especially those requiring the use of a forklift or stock picker. Monitor, research and resolve allocation issues in the Problem Resolution (Orders) program. Perform inventory transfers and inventory adjustment as needed. Print and apply location label requests. Request repair and replacement of RF and Vocollect units. Review and research various reports. Research inventory discrepancies and explain large quantity on hand adjustments. Research and correct item numbers/locations in the LogPro Quantity Correction Program. Audit outbound parcels and inbound license plates daily. Verify results. Perform daily audits and reconcile all items located in damage locations. Process items in the “relabel” location. Perform slotting jobs determined by the DC and the Slotting Task Force Leader.
