THIS JOB DESCRIPTION DOES NOT ATTEMPT TO LIST ALL OF THE DUTIES THAT ARE OR MAY BE PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION Primary Duties: 1. Conducts inspections of pipe and coatings during integrity digs and other excavations. 2. Collects and accurately records information during pipe excavations, performs root cause analysis and recommends preventive and mitigating measures. 3. Inspects coating application during repairs and new construction to assure proper coating material and application procedures are utilized. 4. Identifies Alternating Current (AC) and Direct Current (DC) interference, inspects installation of interference mitigation facilities, and monitors and maintains effectiveness of mitigation facilities. 5. Conducts sampling of liquids and solids recovered during pipe inspections and pigging operations to assure accurate laboratory analysis. 6. Monitors internal corrosion coupons / probes and chemical treatments. 7. Recommends and monitors chemical treatments and drying after hydro-tests. 8. Recommends maintenance pigging frequency and participates in conducting maintenance pigging and in-line inspections. 9. Conducts electrical surveys for direct assessments and other surveys to...
